We plan to work with lettering for this poster, using the yellow ribbon, a symbol of the demand for the return of the kidnapped in Gaza. The ribbon forms the text “Bring them Home”, and the central “e” in the word “them” shapes the symbol of the yellow ribbon. The entire piece was created in Adobe Illustrator.
Wishing everyone a vibrant and prosperous Year of the Dragon! Using our logo as a Chinese Dragon figure. It was a fun poster to do.
Considering the global war context, we thought, as a message for the Jewish celebration of Tu Bi’Shvat, the New Year for Trees, to combine the planting of a new tree with the hope for peace. The tree roots are portrayed as the symbol of peace. The colors align with our brand, giving the poster an institutional character.
We created a poster, which we shared on our social media, representing the hostages situation and the terr0rists, along with their network of tunnels located beneath the city of Gaza. They use hospitals, mosques, and schools as protective shields for their bases and personnel. The dramatic nature of the situation is also represented in the colors: black and red for the surroundings, white for the message of hope, and yellow, the color used in Israel to symbolize the cause of the return of the kidnapped people.
We worked on this lettering design, which we used to print our Jewish New Year’s greeting cards. We sent the cards via physical mail to a hundred clients, family members, and friends of our studio. Each one with a personalized handwritten message. We reached 39 cities in 9 countries!
This is our tribute to some of the designers who inspire us with their amazing work: Milton Glaser, Shigeo Fukuda, and Neville Brody. Thank you! We transform our logo into each designer style.
From Wikipedia:
Milton Glaser (June 26, 1929 – June 26, 2020) was an American graphic designer. His designs include the I Love New York logo, a 1966 poster for Bob Dylan, and the logos for DC Comics, Stony Brook University, and Brooklyn Brewery.
Shigeo Fukuda (福田 繁雄, Fukuda Shigeo, February 4, 1932 – January 11, 2009) was a sculptor, medallist, graphic artist and poster designer who created optical illusions. His art pieces usually portray deception, such as Lunch With a Helmet On, a sculpture created entirely from forks, knives, and spoons, that casts a detailed shadow of a motorcycle.

He is known for his work on The Face magazine (1981–1986), Arena magazine (1987–1990), and designing record covers for artists such as Clock DVA, Cabaret Voltaire, The Bongos, 23 Skidoo and Depeche Mode.
